WHO ARE WE?
We are Danny and Shelley – the INTRUSIVERIDERS – two relatively new riders sharing our real experiences on motorcycles. We ride the bikes, live with them, make mistakes, learn from this, but most importantly share what actualy matters along the way.
Why we’ve chosen Mental Health Motorbike
WHAT WE ARE DOING?
We will be departing from Land’s End on 11 August, and riding our Triumph Street Triple’s to John O’Groats, finishing on 15 August. We are avoiding motorways to enable riders of all bike sizes to join the ride it they wish, stops have been arranged and we will attend bike nights at Bridgwater, Chester, Carlisle and Edinburgh
WHY ARE WE DOING IT?
To help challenge the stigma surrounding mental health, and to raise funds for two charities dedicated to supporting those affected:
- Danny tragically lost his brother to suicide in 2019, and ANDYSMANCLUB has become a vital source of support for his dad, offering a safe space to talk and be heard.
- Shelley’s mum and stepdad work in the mental health sector, and MENTAL HEALTH MOTORBIKE reflects both her appreciation for the work they do, and her passion for motorcycling.
