The Happy Bikers Announce an 18 month around the world motorcycle expedition – starting 27th June 2026 from Warwickshire, UK

In June 2026  British adventure motorcyclists The Happy Bikers, Steve and Duncan are preparing to embark on an extraordinary 18 month round the world expedition, departing 27 June 2026. What began as a shared dream has evolved into a bold, meticulously planned journey across continents, cultures, and some of the most challenging terrain on the planet. The official launch of The Happy Bikers Global Adventure will take place at the ABR Festival at Ragley Hall, Warwickshire, where Steve and Duncan will take to the stage to share the vision, mission, and sheer ambition behind their adventure.

Leaving behind their jobs, homes, and the comforts of everyday life, the pair will travel through deserts, mountain passes, chaotic megacities, and remote wilderness — documenting every high, low, laugh, and lesson along the way. Their mission goes far beyond the miles: they aim to celebrate the freedom of life on two wheels, champion the transformative power of adventure, and raise awareness for their chosen charities, Mental Health Motorbike and SERV Suffolk & Cambridgeshire. To prepare for the extreme conditions ahead, Steve and Duncan will undergo specialist offroad training at the renowned Sweet Lamb Adventure Academy, sharpening the skills required for the toughest terrain on earth.

The duo will complete the journey aboard the brandnew Ducati DesertX V2’s, a machine engineered for longrange exploration and rugged endurance. Their expedition is proudly supported by Ducati UK and Ducati Cambridge, a part of the Vindis Group, and Pirelli whose backing helps bring this ambitious global ride to life.

Between them, The Happy Bikers have already travelled thousands of miles through Morocco’s dunes, Nepal’s rugged trails, Europe’s iconic alpine passes, and the breathtaking fjords and wilderness of Scandinavia — including Norway’s legendary coastal routes. As experienced IAM riders, with Steve serving as a National Observer and Masters rider, they bring deep expertise, passion, and respect for adventure motorcycling. The Happy Bikers invite audiences to follow their progress across the world. Follow their journey. Join their community. Be part of The Happy Bikers Global Adventure

Why we’ve chosen Mental Health Motorbike

The Happy Bikers Global Adventure has always been about more than miles, maps and motorcycle tyres. It is about people.

At some point in life, every single one of us hits a rough patch. We certainly have. Life can feel heavy, loud and overwhelming. Yet somehow, when the helmet goes on and the engine fires up, something shifts. The road has a strange kind of therapy built into it. For a while, the noise fades. The mind settles. The world feels manageable again.

Riding has been our reset button. Our thinking space. Our happy place.

So when it came to choosing a charity to stand alongside on this global journey, the decision was simple. Mental Health Motorbike understands riders because it is built by riders. It speaks our language. It knows that sometimes the best conversations happen next to a bike with a brew in hand.

This partnership is not just a logo on a page. Both of us have trained as Mental Health First Aiders because we want to be part of the solution. We want to be able to recognise when someone is struggling and have the confidence to step in, listen and guide them towards proper support.

If our adventure can inspire someone to ride more, talk more openly, or reach out when they need help, then every mile will mean even moreWe are proud to ride in support of Mental Health Motorbike together, in strength, we will break the stigma!

The journey is global. The message is simple. You are never riding alone.
