I got my first ‘twist and go’ at the tender age of 16, and I’ve never looked back (I’m not going that way!)

Mental health and supporting others is close to my heart. I am a MHFA at work, and have previously worked for a local homeless charity as well as supporting offender rehab at my local probation office. This came hand in hand with supporting members that were living with addiction and/ or mental health issues.

I am honoured to be part of the MHMotorbike team, and I’m looking forward to supporting the charity by means of MHFA administration duties, mostly looking after course bookings and hopefully meeting some of you at events.

Having always had in interest in motorbikes from a young age, at 18 I decided to buy my first bike and never looked back. Since then I have had the pleasure of meeting and being involved with the wonderful motorcycle community for a number of years.

Having completed my mental health first aid training as part of my employment, I didn’t feel like this was being fully utilised and wanted to be able to find a way to do more with this. After meeting the Mental Health Motorbike team at the NEC, I made the decision that volunteering with the charity would be a good way to combine my biggest passion and to also give something back by helping others.
I look forward to supporting the charity in any way that I can and to hopefully meeting you all in the future.

I have had a love of motorbikes ever since I can remember, and currently own 2 Kawasaki’s – A 1996 ZX6r called ‘Buzz’ and a Ninja 650 KRT.

I love being part of the biker family and feel the ‘Biker Nod’ is so important in recognising we are a family, even when we are just passing on the road.

I have a keen interest in Mental Health and have previously worked within a wellbeing team where I supported University students. I am so excited to be joining the Mental Health Motorcycle team where I will be supporting with a variety of admin tasks. I will also be attending events where I can meet you all in person.

Do you want to volunteer with us?

We are always looking for reliable and dynamic volunteers to support the growth of the charity. There are two main roles these are regional coordinators (who manage a county area and a team of area volunteers). The other role requires less time and is that of an area coordinator (this is promoting our work in a more localised are and you will be responsible to a regional coordinator)
